A: The condenser is slovenly. The condenser is the coil on the outside of the house. Remove the air conditioner and wash that wind out with a garden hose. Reinstall the a/c and it should keep blowing cold for you.
From what I've observed with all my A/C units, it blows dead air via the evaporative cooling (loud hum happens here) until the coils freeze over, then it blows universal air over the coils, thawing the frozen/iced parts and cooling the air that passes
A: Try organization the coils and filter. Try cleaning the temperature senser. It probably went out on an hindrance and it might start if you let it cool off.
