Does anyone discern what the cup that screws/holds the blades called? I tried to clean my fan... opened the metal/aluminum dissemble, then that plastic cup that holds the blades tight got broken. Where can I get that part? What's the name of it?

I solely bought a lasko tower fan and I don't know if i didn't assemble it correctly but it doesn't swim or oscilliate at all...i thought it was the sureface but i tried it on all surfaces...

A: if you put it together becomingly, perhaps it is faulty. take the fan & receipt back to the store and get a replacement.

I have 2 Lasko rise fans and for some reason one of them is blowing out the back instead of front and the other stopped oscillating. What can I do to fix them myself? They are not that old and can't afford to run out and buy new ones.

A: stopped oscillating is undoubtedly the gears worn out or broken. If you get lucky you might be able to take it apart and repair or restore the cogs.
The one running backwards is a bigger issue and best solved by turning it around.
