Academia de Arte Flamenco was founded in July, 2004 by Ms Claudia Silva-Kramer and for six consecutive years has offered affordable flamenco dance classes at its dance studio located in the heart of the Deco District on 1722 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio, Texas.

Academia de Arte Flamenco's students have performed at countless venues and festivals in Central and South Texas like the prestigious Texas Folklife Festival and the State Fair of Texas in Dallas, to name a few. Our professional dance company performs regularly at España Bar de Tapas in San Antonio.

We raised $18,000 in 2008 for our students traveling to Spain to train in flamenco dance with renowned flamenco artists.

Effective August 1st, 2010 flamenco classes are offered by "Raices de Arte Español", operated and directed by José & Chiqui Linares.
